Please take a moment to read them before booking. The Company enters into this Agreement as the principal for reservations made for Resort Plams. In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
1. DEFINITIONS
“Company” or “we” means Resort palms d. o. o., with headquarters in Croatia, Pašman. “Reservation” means the reservation of accommodation, events and/or any other service or item agreed with us. “Agreement” means the booking and these Terms and Conditions, as well as any other terms and conditions stated to apply to the booking. “Resort” means the villa for which your reservation has been arranged. “Terms” means these terms and conditions. “Websites” means www.palms.hr, or any other website owned by us or managed from time to time for the purposes of the Resort. “VAT” means value added tax.
2. RESERVATIONS
All reservations at the Resort are subject to these Terms. When making a reservation or check-in, we will take your credit/debit card information, and you authorize the use of said card to collect all debts. We will also be entitled to require full advance payment or a deposit at the time of booking if the booking is made under these terms. No booking will be considered confirmed until the details and/or payment/deposit described in this section have been provided.
3. VILLA PRICES
The prices shown on the website are average values per night per villa until the appropriate price of the villa is selected. VAT is included in the price. All additional services are included only if specified. Minimum length of stay, deposit, cancellation fee and other conditions may apply to certain prices, as stated on the website. After selecting the price on the website, the total amount for the requested stay will be displayed on the reservation summary. In the event that the reservation request was made by e-mail, all the above-mentioned details (duration of stay, prices, deposit, cancellation fee and other conditions) are specified in that e-mail message (offer). All payments will be made in Croatian currency. The amount for which your credit card will be charged is obtained by converting the price in euros into Croatian kunas according to the current exchange rate of the Croatian National Bank. When charging from a credit card, the same amount is converted into your local currency in accordance with the exchange rate of the card associations. As a result of this conversion, there is a possibility of a slight difference compared to the original price listed on our website. Tourist tax* is not included in the accommodation price and amounts to HRK 10 per person per day. However, the tourist tax is visible and clearly stated when booking online (and mentioned in the email message) as part of the final price, but is not charged in advance, but directly at the reception. Children aged 12 to 18 pay the tourist tax reduced by 50%. Children up to 12 years old do not pay the residence tax. *Resident tax may be subject to change by local authorities without prior notice
4. REGISTRATION/REGISTRATION CONDITIONS
Upon check-in, guests are required to confirm their identity using their reservation, passport/identity card and valid credit or debit card, which will be used as a guarantee for payment. The company is also legally required to record the guest’s passport/identity card number, date and place of birth and citizenship. The above information will be requested from each guest, and the Company reserves the right to refuse accommodation to persons who cannot provide the above information. Check-in time at the villas is 4 pm on the day of arrival. All rooms secured by credit/debit card or pre-paid at the time of booking will remain reserved until 23:59 on the estimated day of arrival, unless otherwise agreed directly with the Company. Check-out time is no later than 10 o’clock. Late check-out can be requested, i.e. after the specified time, which is subject to availability and additional fees. The accommodation units are subject to the rules on maximum occupancy, which are determined by the Company, as follows: • The maximum capacity of the villa is six people. A baby cot for babies up to 2 years old is available free of charge with prior notice (maximum 2 per room).
5. PAYMENT
We accept the following payment methods: cash; credit cards – American Express, MasterCard/Diners International, Diners Club, JCB International Credit Card, Visa; debit cards – Visa/Delta and Visa/Electron. All outstanding charges must be paid at the latest upon check-out.
6. CANCELLATION OF SERVICE AND FAILURE TO APPEAR
The service cancellation policy varies depending on the price of the service booked. Please see individual descriptions for full price at time of booking. Services marked as “Best Available Rate” can be canceled without charge up to 48 hours before the arrival date. After this time, 100% of the total stay is charged. In case of no-show or early departure, 100% of the stay will be charged. Cancellation and no-show charges apply after the relevant time and are charged to the credit/debit card provided at the time of booking. For services marked “Advance Purchase”, the Company requires payment for the entire stay at the time of booking, which is non-refundable and no changes to the booking are allowed. Payment is made in kuna at the CNB exchange rate on the day of payment from the credit/debit card specified at the time of booking. Cancellation or no-show will result in forfeiture of subscription.
7. CHANGES OR TERMINATION BY THE COMPANY
In the event that the Company has to cancel a guest’s reservation, the guest will receive a full refund and the Company shall have no further liability to the guest arising from such cancellation. The Company will, however, make reasonable efforts to attempt to relocate any canceled confirmed booking to an alternative location that is similar to the Company’s standards. The company reserves the right to accommodate guests in any room within the class of the reserved villa. Accommodation in a specific accommodation unit cannot be guaranteed before registration.
8. DAMAGE
The Company reserves the right to charge for damages and you hereby authorize the Company to charge your credit or debit card for any damage to your room or to the Company’s property incurred during your stay (including, without limitation, special cleaning) and any items missing from your rooms after your departure.
9. SPECIAL NEEDS
We welcome guests with limited mobility, disabilities and medical and other special needs. We aim to ensure that our services are as accessible as reasonably possible, so it is important that you keep us fully informed of any special needs, requirements and conditions you may have. Also, a risk assessment may be required before confirming a reservation or allowing participation in certain leisure activities. We rely on the information you provide us to anticipate and meet your needs. Therefore, you must notify us of any changes in circumstances before and during your stay.
10. VISA
Obtaining a visa to enter Croatia is your responsibility. The company will not be responsible for payment of additional costs in case of entry or exit visa fees. The same rule applies to all vaccination costs required to enter any country. You are also responsible for all necessary transportation tickets. Refunds will not be granted in case of late arrival at the Resort (a day or more).
